Intake Claims Coordinator (CSR)

|Description:||The Intake Claims Coordinator will answer calls in a highly customer service oriented (Inbound, 24/7 Call Center). Claims Coordinators are responsible for filing claims and providing accurate client specific absence policy information to callers. |
|Duties:|| Initial point of contact clients and claimants over the phone.|
Obtain claimants initial claim information regarding Disability, Leave of Absence and FMLA.
Coordinate medical information required for new claims.
Answer questions regarding benefit or claim process.
Provide excellent customer service.
|Qualifications:|| High school diploma required, further education preferred.|
Must have at least 1-2 years experience working as a call center representative for either an inbound or outbound call center.
Candidate must be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 4:30am and 8:00pm.
Standard schedule will be determined once 4 week training period is complete.
Must be available to work holidays and either a Saturday or Sunday, if required.
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook required. NO exceptions.
Ability to type at least 40 WPM. Typing test will be given during the interview process.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Writing test will be given during the interview process.
High attention to detail required.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment required.
Ability to retain, gather and organize data.
