This is a contract position based in our Phoenix office.
|Duties:||The primary function is to provide assistance with our hardware and software image refresh project while assisting with hardware and software desktop support to our 700+ users within the Phoenix office as well as our remote offices and telecommuters. |
The job requires telephone and personal contact with users on a daily basis, so the ability to communicate clearly without technical jargon is extremely important.
The environment is fast paced and changes rapidly, so the candidate must be results driven and operate with a sense of urgency to user requests.
A+ Certified, Network + Certified, Microsoft Certified Professional
3+ years supporting Windows XP environment as well as some Windows 7
Experience with PC and laptop imaging utilizing WDS
1+ years of supporting Active Directory and Outlook
Virus and Malware irradiation (Preferably McAfee)
PC performance problem resolution locally and via remote connection
Ability to add, cards, hard drives and memory to laptops and PC’s
Knowledge of network resources, i.e. shared drives
Knowledge of VoIP systems on aN end user level
Network Printer and Personal Printer problem troubleshooting and resolution
Must have worked in a support environment and be familiar with the principal and operations of a ticketing system
Knowledge of Citrix an advantage.
Knowledge of SQL in an Oracle environment
Exposure to Unix or Linux an advantage
Sun LDAP directory Server
Knowledge of VDI is a plus
