Description:This single incumbent executive will be responsible for creating the strategy around our growth and offerings in the Disability space along with new product development, research, product strategy, and sales support.

**Position can be located in any of our offices (AZ, CA,OR, NY, TX) or possibly in a remote/telecommute capacity**

The incumbent in this position will be key in the development of short and long term growth plans for the business, as well as being able to measure and report to senior staff on results and trends.
• Create and implement Best Practices in Delivery of our product(s).

• Create and implement Best Practices in Delivery of our Clinical model.

• Create and implement an effective Return to Work strategy for all clients.

• Reporting and Analytics of results.

• Responsible for assessing the marketplace to ensure that Matrix is on the cutting edge of product offerings and ready for future trends.
• Develop concepts and ideas to keep Matrix current.

• Able to build products and offerings and price them appropriately.

• Write and publish industry White Papers and publications.

• Must be engaged in the Industry through networking and professional organizations.

• Identify and develop improvement opportunities to enhance sales presentations and program capabilities.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners including, but not limited to, Marketing and Sales. Manage working relationships between Sales, Operations and Account Management. Work with Senior Management in Matrix and RSL organizations toward mutual gain.

• Assist in the sales process by preparing appropriate responses to Requests for Proposal (“RFP”), participating in sales presentations and providing claims training to sales personnel.

• Evaluate sales presentation needs for material and presentation staff and assist to ensure the right people are prepared and available.
• Participate in Matrix Senior Management planning, communicating appropriately with peers as needed.
Qualifications:• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degrees desirable.

• Minimum of five (5) years related experience Must have demonstrated superior abilities with a high level of accuracy and productivity.

• The ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

• The ability to function with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work well in a high visibility, public oriented environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to work with the following equipment: P.C., telephone, fax machine, calculator.

• Prior experience using an automated claim system desirable.

• A minimum of 50% travel is required.
