Claims Coordinator (CSR) PT

Description:The Claims Coordinator will answer calls in a highly customer service oriented (Inbound, 24/7 Call Center). Claims Coordinators are responsible for filing claims and providing accurate client specific absence policy information to callers.
Duties:• Initial point of contact clients and claimants over the phone.
• Obtain claimants initial claim information.
• Coordinate medical information required for new claims.
• Answer questions regarding benefit or claim process.
• Provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:• High school diploma required, further education preferred.
• Must have at least 1-2 years experience working as a call center representative for either an inbound or outbound call center.
• Candidate must be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 4:30am and 8:00pm.
• Standard schedule will be determined once 4 week training period is complete.
• Must be available to work holidays and either a Saturday or Sunday, if required.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook required. NO exceptions.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM. Typing test will be given during the interview process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Writing test will be given during the interview process.
• High attention to detail required.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment required.
• Ability to retain, gather and organize data.
• Bilingual candidates are a (+)
