|Description:||The primary function is to provide hardware and software desktop support to our 700+ users within the Phoenix office as well as our remote offices and telecommuters. This position has a high level of telephone and personal contact with users on a daily basis. The environment is fast paced and changes rapidly. |
(Temporary Assignment- 2 Months)
|Duties:|| Supporting Windows XP environment as well as some Windows 7|
Experiencing with PC and laptop imaging utilizing WDS
Supporting Active Directory and Outlook
Experience with Virus and Malware irradiation (Preferably McAfee)
PC performance problem resolution locally and via remote connection
Ability to add, cards, hard drives and memory to laptops and PCs
Network Printer and Personal Printer problem troubleshooting and resolution
Experience with operations of a ticketing system
|Qualifications:|| A+ certified, Network + certified, Microsoft Certified Professional is required|
3 + years supporting Windows XP environment as well as some Windows 7 is required
2 + years of supporting Active Directory and Outlook is required
Knowledge of network resources, i.e. shared drives
Knowledge of VoIP systems on a end user level
Knowledge of Citrix an advantage, preferred
Knowledge of SQL in an Oracle environment, preferred
Exposure to Unix of Linux an advantage, preferred
Sun LDAP directory Server, preferred
Knowledge of VDI, preferred
Must have worked in a support environment and be familiar with the principal and operations of a ticketing system
Must be a quick study, in terms of the required process
Must be very detailed orientated
Must have good personal organizational skills
Must have proven ability in customer service and communication without technical jargon is extremely important
The IT Desktop Support Technician must possess high energy, drive and positive attitude; is committed to customer service and teamwork; has ability to multi task and is focused on achieving results with a sense of urgency to users requests.
Requires standing and walking for long periods of time (a must)
Must be able to utilize stairs.
Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 50 lbs.
Frequently, push and pull, squat and kneel with product weighing up to 25 lbs.
